We visited Rocky Mount Mills while in the area for a baseball tourney. Such a cool development. Several good breweries, tap rooms, and restaurants to choose from. They also have some good bands playing. We stayed in the tiny homes and highly recommend making a reservation. They are within walking distance to everything!! Check this place out when you have the opportunity.
I had a great Saturday afternoon there for the African American Music Trail Festival. There was ample parking. No outrageous fees(free event) to park, and the walk was not blocks to get to the venue. Restaurants were quick walking distance from the park. The weather was pleasant, and everyone was enjoying the event.
We wanted to go for a drive on a Sunday afternoon after church to look at the changing colors. Spotting the Rocky Mount Mills, and reading the reviews, I expected something exciting. It was not.
It looks like an old factory, cleaned up - and closed.
I've heard that there is a great restaurant at the Mills.
Unfortunately, the only restaurant is closed on Sundays.
I think I had anticipated this being a part of the national Mills chain of shopping centers. It is not.
The tiny house motel thing was cute.
Several dining and beer options. Best place to hang out in Rocky Mount. If you haven’t visited, you should. I do miss all of the events that used to be out on the lawn. It seems like there haven’t been as many events this year. There are now some additional options other than the breweries as there are some spots with limited spirits available. Enjoy nice outdoor areas an music at times.
An awesome 💯 park with amazing trails and so many options. The paved trails here are a real gem and there is plenty of disc golf available too.
Significant historical treasure on the Tar River in Eastern North Carolina. Beautiful river walk along a dedicated greenway is immediately adjacent. Coffee cafe, craft breweries, fine dining, art gallery all on the property.
Beautiful place!! There’s so much to see.
There’s bars, restaurants & tiny houses. You can go for a nice walk too.
Great vibe, highly recommend!
This place was pretty neat to visit and walk around. We started with the battle park trail on the back side and then eventually came over to the Mills side. The falls was neat as well!
